Comprehensive Surfacing Works at Bromsgrove High

South Bromsgrove High is renowned for its excellence in all aspects – performance, teaching quality, management, conduct and overall effectiveness. Sporting activities are an integral part of school life; many pupils have excelled to the county, regional and even national level due to the help of clubs provided by Bromsgrove High.

The brand-new 3G Football Turf facility, delivered by S&C Slatter, features a 106m x 70m pitch able to host full size, 9, 7 and 5 a side matches as well as self-contained changing rooms next door.

Slatter Estates Surfaces executed a range of essential infrastructure works, with Steve Ayres our dedicated Contracts Manager, leading the project team. An elevated timber retaining wall was constructed, with foundations laid for a new amenity block. Furthermore, macadam pathways and hard standings were created to serve both players and spectators, accompanied by landscaping and planting to adjacent spaces.

Slatter Estates Surfaces is proud to deliver Bromsgrove High with their new 3G Astroturf Pitch, footpath and amenities and the students are delighted with the facility and already the quality of football across all abilities has improved drastically. Dave Bayliss, 3G ATP Project Manager, believes that this excellent facility is a major asset for both the school and its surrounding community.
